LPN to BSN

Description

The licensed practical nurse (LPN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is only for students that have successfully completed a practical nursing program, the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX) for LPN licensure and are currently licensed practical nurses.  The BSN prepares professional practitioners in areas including health promotion and maintenance, physiological and psychosocial integrity, and safe and effective management of care.  Upon successful completion of the BSN program, graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX for registered nurse (RN) licensure.  The LPN to BSN program requires three semesters and one summer to complete.
